On Friday 7th David Littlemore gave members an interesting illustrated talk on the National Coastwatch Organisation and the work going on to extend the service in North Wales. The first station to be re-opened being at Porth Dinllaen on Sunday 9th August though it won’t be operational until the summer of 2010. Some dozen Madoc members are involved with the current project. The Squirrel Race has been rescheduled for Saturday 5th September and will be run in conjunction with a rescheduled Holland Cup.
