Introduction to Rowing

MYC Rowing was formed in 2001 following an idea by club members Bill Piper and Dr John Jones-Morris. They had a burning desire to bring rowing and traditional boats back to Porthmadog.

The rowing section has come on in leaps and bounds, competing in the Celtic Challenge over the Irish Sea and the spectacular London Great River Race.

The rowing section have their own website at http://www.madog-rowing.co.uk/, so that's the place to look for more information, photos, calendars and training information. This site only contains some photos from 2006 and 2008. (see 'Photo albums' in  the rowing menu).
